Thoughtfully designed gear for the wild places of Africa. Born from real experiences, built to last.
I've been going to the bush all my life. There wasn't a single moment that sparked it—it's just always been one of my favorite places. Getting out into nature, experiencing it firsthand—that's what drives me.
While building tech companies in Cape Town, I found myself constantly drawn back to those wild spaces. Each trip revealed opportunities to create better solutions—gear that truly serves the people who use it in the places that matter most. That's when Overland Supply Co. began taking shape.

Our products aren't just concepts—they're already being tested and refined in the field. Here's what we've created so far.

I actually use this two ways: one for tools in the Fortuner, and another as a hanging cutlery set at camp. Thread a piece of rope through it, hang it from a branch or your vehicle, and you've got an organized kitchen setup that keeps everything off the ground and easily accessible.

My go-to for organizing camp essentials. I use it as a complete coffee station with all my brewing gear in one place, or as a kitchen organizer for condiments and cooking supplies. True to its name, it really does adapt to whatever you need it for.
We were out on a game drive in Timbavati, searching for lions when we got a flat tire. No spare wheel on the game viewer, no puncture repair kit either—we were stuck.
But we did have our coffee setup in the Alles-Sakkie. It was too early to radio for help, so we did what any South African would do—we made coffee and enjoyed the bush for a couple hours until it was a reasonable time to call for assistance.
That day taught me two things: always have a puncture repair kit (which is why we now make one), and good gear doesn't just get you out of trouble—it makes the trouble worth experiencing.
"Sometimes the best adventures start when things go wrong."
Quality gear should be thoughtfully designed, rigorously tested, and built to serve you for years.
Every feature serves a purpose. We focus on creating gear that solves real problems elegantly, without unnecessary complexity or gimmicks. Form follows function, always.
Every product we make is something I use myself. From Dasklip Pass to Timbavati, our gear gets tested in the places you'll actually use it—not just in a lab, but in the real world where it matters.
The best gear serves multiple purposes. A tool roll becomes a cutlery organizer. A utility bag becomes a coffee station. We design for adaptability because space is always at a premium when you're on the road.
To build an authentic outdoor brand that serves people who actually use their gear. Not the flashiest, but the most reliable. Not the most complex, but the most thoughtful.
As more young South Africans discover the joy of the outdoors, especially here in the Western Cape, we want to be the brand that creates exceptional gear that enhances their adventures—helping build the next generation of bush lovers and explorers.
